首届中美蛋鸡非笼养主题交流会

       2026 年美国亚特兰大 IPPE 展会期间，一场聚焦蛋鸡非笼养产业发展的国际盛会备受瞩目。由中裕与《国际家禽》联合主办的首届中美蛋鸡非笼养主题交流会成功举办。

        During the 2026 IPPE exhibition in Atlanta, USA, an international event spotlighting the development of cage-free egg production garnered significant attention. The inaugural China-US Cage-Free Egg Production Exchange, jointly hosted by Kaleter and International Poultry, was successfully held.

这不仅是中国参展企业在本次 IPPE 展会期间举办的首场国际交流会，更是中裕凭借深耕行业多年的技术积淀与产业洞察力，搭建起的中美蛋鸡非笼养领域深度对话的桥梁。

       This marks not only the first international exchange event hosted by Chinese exhibitors during this year's IPPE, but also represents a significant step by Kaleter in establishing a bridge for in-depth dialogue between China and the United States in the cage-free egg production sector. This initiative leverages Zhongyu's extensive technical expertise and industry insights cultivated through years of dedicated work in the field.

交流会上，蛋鸡非笼养事业部总经理周琰携手中国农业大学郑炜超教授、宁夏晓明股份总经理助理魏思勤、美国蛋品中心主任 Brett Ramirez、美国乔治亚大学柴立龙教授等中美行业大咖，围绕中美蛋鸡非笼养发展的历史背景、产业挑战、技术突破及企业实践展开深度研讨。会议由《国际家禽》出版人李丁丁主持，各方观点碰撞，为蛋鸡非笼养产业发展凝聚智慧与共识。

At the exchange meeting, General Manager Zhou Yan joined forces with industry leaders from China and the United States, including Professor Zheng Weichao from China Agricultural University, Wei Siqin, Assistant General Manager of Ningxia Xiaoming Co., Ltd., Brett Ramirez, Director of the U.S. Egg Products Center, and Professor Chai Lilon from the University of Georgia. Together, they engaged in an in-depth discussion on the historical background, industrial challenges, technological breakthroughs, and corporate practices surrounding the development of non-cage egg production in both countries. Moderated by Dingding Li, Publisher of International Poultry, the meeting fostered a dynamic exchange of perspectives, pooling wisdom and building consensus for the advancement of non-caged egg production.

从产业发展脉络来看，中美蛋鸡非笼养转型之路虽出发点不同，但均呈现出强劲的发展势头。美国的非笼养转型是动物福利觉醒、立法推动、市场倒逼及技术成本平衡共同作用的结果：2000 年之前，笼养模式占据绝对主导地位；2008 年，加州率先出台相关立法，为非笼养养殖划定标准；2015 年成为关键转折点，零售商超的采购承诺推动产业加速变革，目前美国非笼养蛋鸡占比已达 46%，仅受禽流感影响，转型速度有所放缓。

From an industrial development perspective, while the paths toward cage-free egg production in China and the United States originated from different starting points, both have demonstrated robust momentum. The U.S. transition to cage-free farming resulted from the combined forces of heightened animal welfare awareness, legislative mandates, market pressures, and technological cost-effectiveness: Prior to 2000, cage systems dominated the industry. In 2008, California pioneered legislation establishing standards for cage-free production. 2015 marked a pivotal turning point, as procurement commitments from retail supermarkets accelerated industry transformation. Currently, non-cage egg production accounts for 46% of the U.S. market, with the pace of transition slowing only due to avian influenza impacts.

In 2010, animal welfare concepts were introduced to China, prompting some enterprises to begin experimenting with cage-free production models; Around 2019, procurement demands from foreign-funded retail chains further influenced domestic egg producers; In 2023, the China Chain Store & Franchise Association released the "Evaluation Requirements for Non-Caged Egg Production," providing guidance for industry standardization; By 2025, the sector experienced explosive growth, with the total number of non-caged laying hens reaching 1.3 million. Notably, as the world's largest egg producer for 40 consecutive years, China accounts for 49% of global egg output with per capita consumption reaching 286 eggs annually. Over 80% of eggs come from large-scale farms, and this massive market presents vast opportunities for expanding non-cage systems. Cage-free egg production has become an irreversible trend in the industry.
